Gay Marriage Opponents Attack New Law on Multiple Fronts

As the afterglow lingers from New York state’s first same-sex marriages,
opponents are seeking to force the invalidation of the long-awaited
unions. One suit charges that the Marriage Equality Law was rammed
through the state Senate in violation of the Open Meetings Law and the
Senate’s own rules.
