Obama issues sanctions to fight international criminal organizations

[JURIST] US President Barack Obama issued an executive order [text] Monday imposing economic sanctions to combat international organized crime [JURIST news archive] operations, freezing their US assets, preventing the transfer of property to the organizations and criminalizing providing aid the organizations.
